The Epidemiology of Chronic Kidney Disease-Related Pruritus and its Effect with Sleep Quality in Hemodialysis Patients in Pakistan A Cross-Sectional Study

A glomerular filtration rate of less than 60 ml/min/1.73 m2 for more three months is the medical definition chronic kidney disease (CKD) caused by damaged kidneys. The incidence disease, which can be fatal if left untreated, has been rising past 30 years. An unpleasant condition, Pruritus due to renal causes itching and decreases quality sleep. This study aims examine factors associated with in CKD patients on maintenance hemodialysis their impact sleep quality. Duration Place: Since 01/01 2019 ending 30/06/2019 that year, I will working as a Post graduate trainee Nephrology Department at Institute Kidney Diseases Peshawar. Methodology: department diseases provided 120 illness. Patients who experienced disruption were included study, but those rashes unrelated not. All questioned about age, gender, typical sleeping habits, illness severity, poor quality, location any pruritus they experienced. Results: CKD-associated how pruritis was dispersed: Eighty-one Percent older 90, while remaining 24 percent younger. Only 43% diagnosed reported it affecting ability sleep, 57% no such disruptions; also, only 31% female, 74% male.
